My Golden Retreiver is eating honey bees...is there anything i can do to stop him?
okay so every time i let him outside to use the bathroom he eats them!...and i know they sting him because he slings his head back and forth but he just goes and eats more..hes not swelling up or anything..is this harmfull to him?
lol no you cant do the water spraying trick on golden !!...my dog begs me to spray him with the water hose, and when we go to the lake he dives in...he lovessss water!!
I have actually had two different dogs that have done this (so I think its more common then people realize). One dog got a wasp and never did it again and that's what I am waiting for to happen to this one. I don't think its harmful to them, most often the bee gets away before my dog catches it. I personally have a huge huge bee phobia so the more he kills the better off I am (its so bad during the summer I opt to stay inside its a huge fear). Of course my dog isn't going after honey bees (haven't seen a honey bee around here in years) mine goes for yellow jackets, wasps, and of all things bumble bees.
