review for sewing machine / embroidery for beginners?

I want to start embroidering items for my family and then move to a small company. I can sew small simple items like pillows and more. I'm sure I could make shirts for my son. My main thing is to want learn to embroider. I was looking on the machines, but do not know much. I am very interested in the brother of self-400 machine sewing and embroidery. What do you think would be the best machine for a beginner and it is just another board (books, websites, etc.) that could help? thanks for all your help and advice!
