Anyone bind a book by hand with a sewing technique?
I am self-publishing a small poetry collection and I am ready to bind it. I wanted to use thin gauge wire and sew with a saddle stitch but would the wire tear the paper and rust? How about embroidery thread? Something low cost ... broke poet here.

The second technique is FABULOUS!!! I am waiting for a project to do it on! (I don't think I would use embroidery floss as it doesn't seem like it would hold up over time very well.)
