Is British Columbia and United Kingdom/Great Britain the Same?

Please tell me if British Columbia and the United Kingdom/ Great Britain is in the same place? Are they the same? I am illiterate when come to my History. Please help.

No they are not the same. They are separated by thousands of miles.

British Columbia is a Province on the West side of Canada.

The United Kingdom is on the east side of the North Atlantic.

England, Wales and Scotland = Great Britain.
Great Britain + Northern Ireland = United Kingdom.
