I need a heavy Sewing Machine! HELP!?
I have a business where I sew the pages of magazines recycled together between two sheets of vinyl. I recently purchased a laminating machine and now I laminate the pages of magazines. I sew in my portfolios and machine is simply not cut it anymore. It binds to and engages the wire and it's just a nightmare. Not that I need a bigger needle, but I need to be able to pass through the laminated page with no problem! I need a machine that sews the plastic without any problem anymore! Perhaps I need to upgrade something, I do not know much about the machines, so I do not know. The machine I now is a leader in PC-2800 brother. Thank you!
To add to Linda's excellent answer, if you need to go to an industrial machine or commercial, you really need to try to buy your first local machine from someone you can trust to help you choose the right machine. Industrial Sewing * If * a lot faster than the machines at home that they can be pretty intimidating, too. There are ways of scaling an industrial to a speed of more healthy little sewing, too.
