How did my mom do this? Its about witch craft?
do you know what it is? my mom said that when she was young she held some kind of needle with a paper or something and she asked questions to the spirits like " who am I going to marry?" and the spirit told her that shes going to marry my dad and going to move to America and IT CAME TRUE! Do any of you know what kind of magic this is? or ritual??
if she happened to hang the needle from a thread and hold it over the paper it would be a form of divination known as dowsing--using a pendulum--and it can also be used for things like finding objects that or lost or locating water underground. It's not necessarily "witch craft" because non-witches have also used it for centuries. People used to use divining rods to locate where to put their wells, for example.
If you are interested in divination you could try many different ways, besides just the needle thing. Tarot cards, reading dice, dominoes, etc, palm reading, all that. All these types of things essentially tap into your subconscious mind, which is connected to the spiritual/divine, and use that energy to help determine possible outcomes.
